Galveston College has a Financial Aid Program which provides financial assistance to the students who will not be able to have a higher education. Galveston College recognizes the fact that resources of the family are not enough to sustain a child's higher education and therefore financial assistance becomes necessary. Galveston College uses all available local, state and federal funds to sustain the financial aid extended to it's students.

Galveston College offers Management courses such as Accounting, Business Administration, Management Development specifically General Management AAS, among others. Management degree programs offer practical course instruction that will prepare students for management career opportunities in business and industry. Galveston College is a community college just at Galveston Island, Galveston Texas. Galveston College was originally an orphanage. The part where the orphanage is, is still part of the school and houses several auditoriums. Galveston College has an innovative approach towards education and is always working with the community, local businesses and organization in improving specialized programs that helps in the fulfillment of the needs of the local economy. It even has a program which was developed in the year 1990s that encouraged high school students in the community to attend college. This brought on one of the financial aids given to students which is Galveston College Universal Access Foundation.
